Quake 3 Arena
Many people around the world have enjoyed Quake and noted it as the premeir
3d FPS in the business. In my opinion Quake 3: Arena on the Dreamcast is no
different. Unlike past games in the series, Quake 3 shelves the single player
game and goes for a kind of game that of course emphasizes multiplayer.
You can chose from over 20 characters, and
color variations for the Team Modes. The modes in the game are Deathmatch, CTF,
Team Deathmatch and of course this brings in one of the first console online
FPS's.
The online mode is great and as for lag it's
not really that bad, And you can always find a lad of people to play with.
Another great feature about this game is the
controls. Just go right to the option screen and you have COMPLETELY
customizeable controls, along with some presets you might find helpful. If your
looking to be a pro Hook up with the Dreamcast Mouse and Keyboard, controlling
your bloody alter ego with these is pure butter.
